On November 5, 1975, Travis was working as a logger in Arizona when he and his co-workers encountered a UFO in the forest. Travis approached the craft and was struck by a beam of light that threw him several feet away. His co-workers fled in terror, leaving Travis behind, presumed dead.
But Travis was not dead. He was missing for five days and then mysteriously reappeared, claiming to have been abducted by aliens. Travis's story has been the subject of multiple books and a Hollywood movie, "Fire in the Sky."

Travis Walton
Travis Walton is an American logger who became famous for his claim of being abducted by a UFO in 1975. He was born on February 10, 1953, in Arizona, USA. On November 5, 1975, Walton and his coworkers were driving home from a logging job when they spotted a bright light in the forest. Curious, they approached it, and Walton was hit by a beam of light, knocking him unconscious. When he regained consciousness, he found himself aboard a UFO. Walton's disappearance sparked a massive search effort, and his story garnered widespread media attention. After returning, Walton underwent hypnosis to help recover his memories of the incident, and his story was later dramatized in the 1993 movie "Fire in the Sky." The validity of Walton's claims has been hotly debated, with skeptics questioning the details of his story and some accusing him of perpetrating a hoax. However, Walton has maintained that his story is true and continues to speak publicly about his experience.
